INSTRUCTOR URSO
ANDRES LOAIZA was born in Medellin, Colombia in 1981. At the age of 10 he starts to train taekwon-do in the M.A.I.C (Martial Arts Integrated Centre) under the leadership of Nelson Herrera (Black Belt 2d Dan).
In 1995 he wins his first gold medal in an inter-club competition. After a few years of trainning he leaves Taekwon-do due to medical problems and in 1998 he takes part in his first Capoeira class during a workshop given in the city.
At the age of 18 he joins the army where he recives trainning in hand to hand combat and self –defense.
At the age of 19 he starts to train Capoeira under the leadership of Mestre Caohlo although he was rejected by his master many times he kept trainning. After 8 years he earns his grade of Instructor and travels to England where he decides to open a Capoeira Okaras School.
After a few years in Europe, this Publicist has traveled to different countries like Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Egypt to meet different Groups of Capoeira and learn more about this beautiful martial art. |
